After
The starting point
After a fire, smoke and sprinkler water damaged the home. The owners wanted a more open foyer as the affected spaces were restored.
The work
Working with our renowned architects, we opened up the foyer with a glass railing, moving the home from Craftsman style toward a more modern look. New artwork adds a personal finishing touch.
The result
A more open, connected foyer with clear sightlines through the glass railing, contemporary finishes, and a place for artwork.

Repairs & restoration: common questions

Can you estimate from photographs?

Photos can support an initial conversation, but concealed conditions and site access may require further investigation before a scope can be confirmed.

Does a repair proposal establish insurance coverage?

No. A construction scope and an insurer’s coverage decision are separate matters. Do not treat a rebuilding estimate as approval of an insurance claim.

What information helps define a restoration scope?

Share photos, the affected rooms and materials, and any reports already available. Distinguish the repair work from optional upgrades, and document unresolved conditions before agreeing on the rebuilding scope.
